Auckland-born Zane Musgrove is a powerhouse prop of Samoan and Maori descent who was signed to replace Tom Mikaele.
He played his junior rugby league for Counties Manukau and Mangere East Hawks until he was signed by South Sydney Rabbitohs.
In March 2016, he made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against Sydney Roosters, aged 19, alongside future Warrington coach Sam Burgess and future Warrington players Greg Inglis and Jason Clark. The Rabbitohs won 42-10.
In November 2016, he signed a three-year contract extension with the club.
He was in the Samoa squad for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup in Australia and made his debut aged 21.
He moved to Wests Tigers in November 2018 on a three-year contract and made 35 appearances for them, scoring three tries.
In February 2021, he represented the Maori All Stars in a 10-10 draw against the Indigenous All Stars.
He joined St George Illawarra on a two-year contact in October 2022, making 11 appearances for the Dragons.
He signed a two-year contract with Warrington in October 2022, completing the club’s overseas quota and linking up again with Sam Burgess.
