Papua New Guinea international Rodrick Tai is a rampaging centre/winger who is expected to thrive in Super League.

Born in Mount Hagen in the Western Highlands Province, he made his PNG debut against Tonga in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The PNG squad was based in Warrington and he scored a try in a win over the Cook Islands at The Halliwell Jones Stadium. 

In 2022 and 2023, he played for PNG Hunters in the Queensland Cup, scoring 14 tries in 34 appearances, and was coached at the NRL side Dolphins.

In August 2023, he signed a 12-month contract with Warrington with a one-year club option after receiving a phone call from new Wire coach Sam Burgess.
