An exciting second-row with an impressive 6ft 4in frame, Lachlan Fitzgibbon is certain to add power and experience to Warrington’s “right edge”.

He was born in North Sydney but moved to Newcastle at a young age.

As a junior, he played for South Newcastle Lions in the Newcastle Rugby League before signing for Newcastle Knights. He then made 49 appearances for Newcastle’s reserve grade side in the New South Wales Cup.

From 2015 to 2023, he made 119 first-grade appearances, scoring 32 tries and becoming a firm favourite with the fans.

In July 2023, he signed a three-year contract with Warrington, starting in 2024, after speaking to former Wire favourites Michael Monaghan and Kurt Gidley.
