Canberra-born prop Paul Vaughan has proved to be one of the best signings from Australia in recent years and made the 2023 Super League Dream Team in his first season in England.
He made more than 200 appearances in the NRL for Canberra Raiders, St George Illawarra and Canterbury Bulldogs.
He represented Italy (thanks to his maternal grandmother) in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup in England and Wales, playing in all three of their matches.
In 2018 and 2019, he played for New South Wales against Queensland in all three State of Origin matches as the Blues won both series 2-1. He was the 1,000th player to represent NSW.
In June 2022, he signed a two-year deal with Warrington, starting in 2023.
In April 2023, he signed a one-year contract extension until at least November 2025.
In September 2023, he was the only Warrington player named in the Super League Dream Team after making 3,301 metres, at 7.99 metres per carry, and 29 offloads.
