Half-back Oli Leyland is looking to start his Warrington Wolves career all over again after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in just his fifth appearance.
OIi, older brother of the Hull KR hooker Bill Leyland, made his name with London Broncos from 2020 to 2024.
He was their Young Player of the Year for 2022 and played in the Championship Grand Final against Toulouse in October 2023 when the Broncos achieved a shock 18-14 victory to earn promotion.
Oli was then one of the shining lights of London’s 2024 Super League campaign to earn a two-year deal with Warrington.
He marked his debut with two tries at Whitehaven in the Challenge Cup in February 2025 and played against Wigan Warriors in Las Vegas in March when Warrington suffered a comprehensive 48-24 defeat.
A loan spell with Widnes Vikings followed before Leyland was back in the side to face Hull KR in May. Tragically, he suffered an ACL injury in the first half that ruled him out for the rest of the year.
