With tireless displays and consistent performances Mike was given a deserved place in the 2020 Super League Dream Team. Powerful on the offensive and rarely missing a tackle in defence since he returned to his hometown club in 2017, Mike spent three seasons with St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL for whom he played 69 times. While he was there Warrington hosted the Dragons in the World Series but he stayed in Australia to await the birth of his son George. Mike made his Warrington debut in 2006 and was awarded a testimonial last season. He earned selection for the England Knights in 2011 and 2012 and went on to play for the full England side against France and New Zealand in 2015, having received eight caps to date. No doubt he will be collecting more in the World Cup tournament in the autumn. Mike began his rugby career with Latchford Albion and on his return home he was appointed their director of rugby.
