Signed from Castleford Tigers’ Academy before the start of the 2018 season, Leeds-born Luis was handed a four years’ contract. Luis is regarded as one of the hottest young properties in the game thanks to his powerful attacking skills, sterling defence, athleticism and size. With the England Academy squad Luis has been coached by Lee Briers and in 2017 he was named Man of the Series for his performances in test matches against the French. As a junior he played for the Oulton Raiders and he joined Cas on a scholarship in 2016. Luis impressed on his first team debut with Wire against Wigan in September 2018 and has since gained valuable first team experience with Hull Kingston Rovers in Super League and Widnes and Rochdale in the Championship.
