Twenty years old, Danny joined his home town club from Widnes in 2019 and was handed a three years’ contract. With the Vikings he made his debut in 2017 and quickly became an effective impact player off the bench. His 28 appearances for the club were supplemented by three starts – enough to earn him recognition as a future full international. He was selected for the England Knights squad in 2018 and was one of six Warrington players who appeared in the second test against Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby. While up against Daryl Clark for a number nine slot Danny impressed sufficiently to figure in most of the club’s fixtures last season.
