The former Wigan Warriors star is returning to Super League after a two years’ break. He spent 2018 with the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL and then joined Widnes Vikings for last summer’s Championship campaign. Anthony brings a wealth of experience to our threequarters and is reunited with Josh Charnley, his wing partner at Wigan with whom he made more than 100 appearances from 2012 to 2017. With the cherry and whites Anthony played in the Grand Final against us in 2016 and in the World Club Championship success against Cronulla four months later. He has earned six caps with the Cook Islands and he scored a try in helping them to qualify for the 2021 World Cup finals with a victory over the United States last autumn.
