Kelepi Tanginoa is a long-time Warrington target who has signed a two-year contract for 2026 and 2027.
At 5ft 11in and 15st 13lb, Kelepi was a big part of the Hull KR side who completed the treble in 2025. He played in the Challenge Cup final victory over Warrington at Wembley and helped Rovers lift the League Leaders’ Shield but missed out on the Grand Final win over Wigan.
Born in Auburn, New South Wales, Kelepi played for Parramatta Eels, North Queensland Cowboys and Manly Sea Eagles before moving to Super League.
Five successful seasons with Wakefield Trinity followed during which time he twice played for the Combined Nations All Stars against England.
Two years with Hull KR (59 appearances and 16 tries) merely added to his reputation as a powerful runner able to play prop, second-row or loose forward.
On Kelepi signing for Warrington, head coach Sam Burgess said: “Kelepi is a fantastic addition for us ahead of the new season. He brings a great level of experience and will add some punch to the group. We’re looking forward to welcoming him into the playing squad.”
