Date of birth: 17/03/2006
Warrington-born Arron Lindop is a promising centre who was awarded a four-year first-team contract at the age of 17.
He attended Bridgewater High School before enrolling at Priestley College to study sport coaching and development.
He progressed through Warrington’s scholarship and Academy ranks and went on the Academy tour to Australia in October 2023, scoring a try against New South Wales Under-17s.
Reflecting on the tour, he said: “I think what I learnt the most was how dedicated you must be off the pitch as well as on the pitch and I think playing the best of the best in Australia really showed this.”
He started pre-season training with the first team ahead of the 2024 campaign and agreed a four-year contract with the option of a further year in the club’s favour.
Coach Sam Burgess said: “We value what he brings and look forward to seeing his progression over the next few years.”
He pulled on a first-team jersey for the first time in the pre-season friendly against Widnes Vikings in January 2024.
