Chris Hill and the Warrington Wolves Foundation are leading an effort to keep Warrington Foodbanks stocked up amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Foodbanks are essential for feeding those most in need in our town and the club and Foundation are keen to help support the most vulnerable in our community.

The Warrington co-captain has asked the Foundation’s Game Changers, the Women’s & Girls and Disability teams to step up and engage with their neighbours. The groups will use the specially designed postcard (see below) to ask households nearby to look in their cupboards or when shopping to think about giving to the foodbanks of Warrington.

Then at 7.45pm on Friday 24 April, when we would have kicked off our Betfred Super League home game against Leeds Rhinos, our team of "Food captains" wearing their club colours will collect from their street and the items will be distributed on Saturday to the foodbanks.
