Jack Hallam: The first Warrington captain to lift the Challenge Cup, a full back who played 217 matches for Warrington. Heritage Number 54.

Jackie Fish: Warrington’s first Superstar, scored 213 tries and 262 goals for 1,163 points in 321 appearances, he scored 3 tries in 3 England appearances and scored 16 tries for Lancashire in 16 matches. He played in four Challenge Cup finals. Heritage Number 65.

Danny Isherwood: A centre in four Challenge Cup finals for Warrington, scored 45 tries in 297 appearances for Warrington and played once for Lancashire. Heritage Number 43.

George Dickenson: Also a centre in four Challenge Cup finals for Warrington, for whom he made 375 appearances, he played in the first Test match against Australia, and also represented England and Lancashire. Heritage Number 85.

Tommy Kenyon: A winger who scored a try in the 3^rdround win over Wigan. Made 45 appearances for Warrington and scored 13 tries. Heritage Number 115.

Ernie Brookes: A stand off, “The Terrier” also played in the first Test match against Australia and scored a try & 2 goals. Made 298 appearances for Warrington and scored 81 tries. Twice a Challenge Cup winner with the Wirepullers. Heritage Number 101.

Dai Davies: Scrum half, the final was the last of his 61 games for Warrington, he scored 17 tries in the Primrose and Blue colours. Heritage Number 110.

Alf Boardman: A forward, who was the first player to play over 400 matches for Warrington, he also played once for England and 6 for Lancashire.. He scored 29 tries for the Wirepullers. Heritage Number 61.

George Thomas: A forward who played in the first ever International match and was killed in action on the Somme. For many years was Warrington’s record points scorer in a match with 31 against St Helens. He played in four Challenge Cup finals. He scored 47 tries and kicked 198 goals in 385 appearances for the Wirepullers. Heritage Number 111.

Frank Shugars: A forward who went on the first Great Britain tour to Australia, in 1910. Made 212 appearances for Warrington also played for Wales, Other Nationalities and Lancashire. A twice winner of the Challenge Cup. Heritage Number 122.

G.Jolley: A forward who did not score in 136 matches for Warrington. Heritage Number 48.

Joe Belton: A Cheshire county forward who played 158 matches for Warrington. A twice winner of the Challenge Cup. Heritage Number 121.

Arthur “Crack” Naylor: A Lancashire county forward who played 202 matches for Warrington. Twice a Challenge Cup winner with the Wirepullers. Heritage Number 102.

Walter Swift: A forward who played 102 matches for Warrington and scored 5 tries. Heritage Number 91.

Bill Harmer: A forward who played 187 matches for Warrington and scored 15 tries. Heritage Number 103.

Six of the team were later inducted into the Warrington Hall of Fame – Fish, Dickenson, Brookes, Boardman, Thomas and Shugars.
