Former England and Arsenal centre back Tony Adams MBE will attend Friday’s fixture against Salford at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Adams has recently taken on the role of honorary President of the Rugby Football League.
The former footballer has become closely linked to the game’s welfare programmes through the Sporting Chance charity he founded in 2000 and attends the fixture as part of Super League’s ‘Health and Wellbeing Round’ which aims to raise the profile of important mental and physical issues.
Sporting Chance has helped more than 400 Rugby League players since the RFL entered into an official partnership with them in 2011.
Adams will be a guest in hospitality and everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming him to The Halliwell Jones Stadium to experience Friday night’s game.
