Jason was signed on a two years’ contract with Wire from South Sydney ahead of last season. He represented New South Wales under-17s before joining the Rabbitohs and he captained their Toyota Cup side before making his NRL debut in 2009.
In the 2014 Grand Final he came off the bench to help Souths defeat Canterbury 30-6 and four months later he figured in the 39-0 victory over St Helens in the World Club Challenge. Jason also represented the City against the Country in the annual New South Wales match-up. Jason was told he would be cut from Rabbitohs’ roster and their loss has been Warrington’s gain.
