Our club has seen many changes since we were founded in 1876. We’ve seen players come and go. We’ve moved stadiums. We’ve had some amazing ups and a few downs.
But no matter what challenges we have faced in our history, and no doubt will face in our future, we can be certain of one thing…the power of our brand will always remain.
Up until now we’ve never had a truly defined brand. We’ve had a logo – well, we’ve had a few logos – and we have some values that we live by, but none of this has ever been documented before, we’ve never had a guide that gives clarity on what we are and how we communicate.
When the club was founded in 1876 nobody could have known the impact it would have on the town and its people. Founded by seven young men whose passion and skill formed the original Warrington Zingari, the club has changed and evolved. Players have come and gone, we’ve moved homes and we’ve changed our name. But the values and beliefs of those seven men have never been forgotten. As we move into our 140th year of existence we begin a new chapter in our history. We now have a new brand, a new look, which has been built by combining our heritage with what our fans want. So while our look may have changed, some things never will. Welcome to the new-look Warrington Wolves. Welcome back The Wire.
Warrington – we are a progressive town that is united in our support for the club
Wire – we are The Wire, always have been, always will be
Wolves – we have embraced this character to reflect our spirit and determination These three pillars have not only provided the direction for our identity, they also helped us to define our values
We constantly strive to demonstrate excellent practice in everything we do, with every internal and external stakeholder, in order to ensure the highest standards are delivered throughout the Club.
We have pride both individually and collectively in representing this great Club. We are always proud to wear the badge and to be entrusted with the enormous responsibility of ensuring the Club’s future success, both on and off the field.
We have respect for one another, the Club and its rich heritage. We respect that we come from different backgrounds but have a common goal to leave this Club in a better place.
We are always honest with one another and our external partners, upholding the Club’s integrity at all times.
