Cai Taylor-Wray's stunning solo try has been voted our Try of the Season for 2026.

Everyone knew it would take some beating, but our electric number one has bagged the award ahead of six other stunning tries, with a mix of solo and team efforts in the running.

Toby King got the Wire off to a perfect start in Round 1, scoring the opening try, but it was Taylor-Wray who lit up the night with his pace and athleticism.

After a few tough yardage carries, Danny Walker skipped out of dummy-half and flicked a pass to the supporting Taylor-Wray, who shrugged off a challenge before burning multiple St Helens chasers to score.

It was a night the youngster really burst onto the scene, and he'll be hoping to do the same again in 2027.

A huge congratulations to Cai on his well-deserved award.
