It's time to vote for your February Player of the Month.

The Wire have got 2026 off to a flying start in the Betfred Super League with two outstanding home victories over St Helens and Wakefield Trinity; the former a night that will live long in the memory with a sold out Halliwell Jones Stadium bringing the energy from start to finish.

Prior to those two fixtures, we also began our Challenge Cup journey with a 34-6 win over the Sheffield Eagles. Across the month there were plenty of standout performers, but we've managed to whittle it down to just four for you to select from.

There was plenty of anticipation as to what Cai Taylor-Wray could do after he was entrusted with the number one shirt for 2026, but so far he has lit up the Super League with two incredible, electric displays, taking home Player of the Match after a try and two assists in our season opener.

Alongside Cai in the running are two new signings, Albert Hopoate and Liam Byrne, who, for different reasons, have already made a big impact on the team. Hopoate, only recently recovered from a knee injury, has already showcased his incredible athleticism and try-scoring ability, whilst Byrne has been making metres in attack, and restricting them in defence.

The final nominee is Toby King, who has scored tries in both Super League games so far this season and has been a powerful, reliable performer at centre for Sam Burgess so far this season.
