19 to do battle with Tigers


Warrington Wolves are back on home soil this weekend after two games on the road.

This Friday night the Wolves will round off Battle of the Beasts when they take on Castleford Tigers, kick-off 8pm.

The Wolves go into the game unbeaten after the opening five rounds, coming from behind against Salford and Catalans in their last two outings to take the win and claim joint top spot.

The Tigers are in sixth place with two wins, two losses and a draw to date including a home defeat to Salford last time out.

The foot in both camps this week is Joel Monaghan as the former Wolves captain and winger returns to take on his ex-teammates for the first time.

Head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith has named his 19-man squad for this weekend including the return of Daryl Clark.
