The Warrington Wolves squad took time away from the rugby field this week to test themselves in a different training environment.
The players were put through their paces by the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service at their training site for a spot of team building. They were tested both physically and mentally; the team had to put out fires, rescue dummies from smoke filled buildings, pull fire engines and much more.
There were a lot of tired bodies at the end of the session but everyone had a smile on their face with a new-found respect for the fire service profession. The Wolves are now raring to go ahead of their First Utility Super League Round 18 fixture versus the Bradford Bulls on Sunday afternoon, The Halliwell Jones Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
