Wolves Hit 250

Did you know..........?

Last night's match against the Huddersfield Giants was a tight affair and marked our 250th home Super League match.

Of these 250 matches we have won 149, drawn six and lost 95, scoring 7,286 points and conceding 5,565. 2,134,308 people have attended these matches with an average of 8,537 per match. Thank you for your continued support of the Wolves as we look forward to this year's play-offs.

During the early Super League days the Wolves' home was Wilderspool where we played 104 matches, winning 54, drawing four and losing 46. We scored 2,737 points and conceded 2,551. 613,516 people were there to watch with an average of 5,899 per match.

The move to The Halliwell Jones Stadium has since seen 146 Super League matches played on home soil with 95 wins, two draws and 49 losses. 4,449 points have been scored and 3,014 conceded. 1,520,792 of you have attended these matches which is an average of 10,416 per match.

Last night became only the second draw at The Halliwell Jones Stadium; the other was in the first year at the Wolves' new home back in April 2004, 22-22 with Bradford Bulls.

Here's to the next 250, starting with a play-off tie this September.
