The Final Straight

Warrington Wolves U19s Academy have excelled this season and are sitting at the top of the leader board. Second-place St Helens may have a game in hand but have yet to face the young Wolves before the play-off series gets underway.

The Wolves’ U19s have just three games left in the regular season. First up is a mid-week fixture against Huddersfield Giants on Wednesday 20 August, 6.45pm at local amateur club Crosfields ARLFC.

This will be followed by two curtain-raisers. The Wolves will host Wakefield Wildcats ahead of their Super League fixture on Thursday 28 August, kicking off at 5.30pm at The Halliwell Jones Stadium. The academy lads will then go on the road to neighbours St Helens at Langtree Park on Thursday 4 September at 5.30pm.

Despite recent losses to St Helens and Wigan Warriors the Wolves have registered 18 wins from 21 appearances.

Head down to Crosfields on Wednesday evening to get your weekly fix of Wolves’ rugby.
