2014 marks a key milestone in the club’s recent history as we celebrate 10 years at The Halliwell Jones Stadium; but if we take a trip down memory lane this year also commemorates several heritage anniversaries.
This year marks 60 years since Warrington celebrated the double, lifting both the Challenge Cup and Championship trophies. It is also 40 years since the all-conquering 1974 side made history with their five-trophy haul: Captain Morgan’s Trophy, Challenge Cup, Club Championship Trophy, Players No.6 Trophy and the Locker Cup with Alex Murphy OBE at the helm.
As a testament to these successes and the club's heritage, May has been branded 'Heritage Month' with many exciting events in store for supporters during the month ahead. Click on the image below to see what's coming up.
Join the club and its Players Association in celebrating these many achievements with members of the infamous 1974 team by booking corporate hospitality for the Wolves' First Utility Super League fixture against Catalan Dragons on Friday 9 May.
Alex Murphy OBE and members of the 1974 squad - Derek Whitehead, Barry Philbin, Alan Whittle, Mike Nicholas and Bobby Wanbon - will be sharing their stories of the successful campaign combined with tales of camaraderie throughout the evening.
For £47.50 per person (inc VAT) you can enjoy this trip down memory lane plus a 1-course plated meal and match-day programme before watching the game from your reserved padded seat.
