If you enjoyed the fast-paced games, fierce competition and adrenalin-fuelled days of the Auckland Nines, Magic Weekend is the thing for you.
Two days of back-to-back 80-minute games are encapsulated by constant entertainment and half-time activities, held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester over the 17 and 18 May.
A crowd of over 60,000 comes out every year to support their Super League teams during a weekend of guaranteed enjoyment, with rival teams facing each other in recent Premier League winners’ - Manchester City’s - home ground.
A total of 14 clubs from across the country are preparing to take part in the seven games over the course of the weekend, and this year Warrington Wolves will bring the curtain down in their match against St.Helens with a 5pm kick off.
The New Zealand heat of the Auckland Nines has been reflected at Magic for the last two years, with the weekend producing warm and sunny weather, since its migration from Cardiff to Manchester in 2012.
With the intense pace of the games and the multitude of entertainment, Magic is set to be the biggest weekend for Rugby League this year; something no Super League fan should miss out on.
You can still be a part of the Magic with tickets still on sale in WolfWare, at the WolfWare Online and on 08448 11 11 76 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm).
Season Ticket Holder 50% discount makes it great value for money. There’s only one place to be this weekend – and that’s the Etihad Stadium.
