The start of the 2014 season is just around the corner and we've been working hard behind the scenes to spruce things up and make them better and easier to use, so we embarked on a full re-design of our website and online store.
Working closely with web developers The One Point and our ecommerce provider Citrus Lime, we have updated our online offering and will be working on another section of the website with a new Wolves TV service coming soon too.
The One Point took the lead in the new responsive design website:
When Warrington Wolves first contacted The One Point to redesign their website we knew this project was going to be a challenge and we were excited to get started.
As we began the design process we considered how we could engage the fans with the website, more integration with social media was the key.
Another important factor was ensuring the website could be viewed on multiple devices including smartphones and tablets to give the best experience possible to the fans no matter how they are accessing this website.
We looked closely at how the site was used currently, we wanted to make it easier to ensure content could be displayed consistently across the site as well as updating the overall look and feel.
We have found the club to be a pleasure to work with, they had a good vision about what they wanted from their new website and they have provide excellent feedback throughout the process.
Overall we are very pleased with the outcome of this project and we hope the Warrington Wolves Fans are as happy as us.
David Carr the lead developer on the project said “I am thrilled to be working with Warrington Wolves again after being heavily involved with their last website, this has again been an extremely exciting project”.
