Warrington Wolves welcomed Lucky 7 winner Susan Kelly down to The Halliwell Jones Stadium to collect her £1000 winnings from lottery manager Allen Hoult.
Sue, originally from North London, moved to Warrington with husband Dave during the 1980s. Prior to their move north avid Arsenal fans Sue and Dave were unaware that there was a second - and in their view infinitely more entertaining - brand of rugby.
The pair - and later their children - bought into League all becoming season ticket holders at Wilderspool. Their favourite Wire players from that time were legends Mark Forster and Des Drummond. The couple particularly recall the duels Dessie enjoyed with another icon of the time - Wigan's Martin Offiah - while their favourite game was the 1990 Challenge Cup Final.
'Super' Bennie Westwood is the couple's favourite player from the current squad. Dave believes that the Wolves are not too far away from challenging for major honours again this year.
Apart from spending the prize money on husband Dave, Sue suggested she would buy clothes and perhaps a holiday with the winnings. The couple have recently returned from a break in Barcelona and would love to return to the Catalonian capital.
However they decide to spend their winnings the club would like congratulate both Sue and Dave on their win.
